Laughing Gull

I posted this because I really liked the light, moment and the BG but was wondering about the angle and if people think it’s pleasing? I’m back at the Fort Jackson Oiled Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Buras, LA doing a story on how the wildlife has faired since the oil spill in 2010 and the laughing Gull photo I took in 2010 while at the cleaning station was a big hit both here and in the pages of the paper I work for. So I’m trying to get a good image of the laughing gull so editors can run the healthy gull along side the oil covered gull on July 5, which will be 2-years to the day.

Model: NIKON D3
Lens (mm): 850
ISO: 800
Aperture: 6.7
Shutter: 1/2000
Program: Manual

This is certainly an attractive flight shot of a healthy gull, and the habitat looks healthy too. The light is excellent and the bird is sharply focused. I am wishing the wings were in a different position, so I could see more detail in them also.
Sweet Photo as is though Doug
