Cindy,

I like this. Your processing/presentation gives this a nostalgic look, almost lonely and forgotten. And for some reason, perhaps because of the color/b&w mix and the subject, I just get a sense that this could have been in Europe during the first or second WW. I don't know why that came to mind - perhaps because of our Memorial Day weekend and all the war movies one. Anyway, very simply composition and common subject, but well done.

Of course though I'm going to be moving this to the Man & Nature gallery. Hope you understand. Thanks for posting.

Lon

I like the feeling of isolation and melancholy here. Nicely processed.

I really like this Cindy, and it might be this monitor, but I keep seeing a shadow like over sharping around the barn. It might be me, as I had a puter crash and replacement without calibrating. Overall, I feel this a wonderful capture.

I really liked the thumbnail, but the larger version looks too processed to me. I also noticed the halo Robert mentioned. If you tone down the effect a bit, you'll end up with a better shot imho.

Love the softness, simplicity, and color balance. Has the look of a very old image. Nicely done. :toast:
