I like this photo for its sheer simplicity. This is a tiny wildflower I found growing in a mountain meadow. Don't know ID.

Canon Rebel T1i. 180mm macro lens. F/9 for 1/6 sec. ISO 100. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

Fantastic POF! Everything seems to be just floating above bloom. JUST STUNNING, print it big and hang it! Fantastic image in every way.

Carolyn- Beautiful !!. Pin sharp focus on the end of the stamens and letting the DOF cover for the rest.

Very nicely done Carolyn. The exposure is dead on and the sharpness is great. I like the flower but just feel a little too much room on the bottom. Just my opinion though.

Carolyn, nice job on keeping it simple. The nearly plain bg is just right for that. It always amazes me how that even the smallest flower is just as intricately made as the larger ones.

That;s wonderful! I like everything about it. Were it mine I might experiment with warming up the petals a little just to see how it looks, but it's great as is.

The sharpness of the anthers and stigma against the slightly soft petals is really eye catching. Nicely done!
