I really like how the vine maple formed a cool little window that perfectly matched the right edge of the falls. Like the tree grew around the falls. the dappled light was a bonus. Thanks for looking!

Very nice scene and the blur of the water is nice. The colors are captured well. The only thing I might do with the image is crop some off the top to put more emphasis on the water, which is the main focus of the scene.

Nice comp Jeremy. I like how you used the vine maple to frame the falls. The soft dappled sunlight works really well here.

Thanks.
Richard, I think agree with you. The crop adds a lot to the image.

Lovely little stream and well captured Jeremy! The cropped version does work better indeed becasue of the added emphasis on the stream. Well shot!

Jeremy,

What a lovely and beautiful scene. Great balance between the greens, flow of the water and some dappled light. I like this very much as presented and really wasn't thinking about a crop. However, I like the crop too - makes me feel right at home with the 4:5 ratio... ;-)

Looks good, though I'm having a hard time seeing the vine you're talking about. Yellow leaf near right edge is maybe a bit distracting against the darker background. I like the crop and the original equally. Lots of nice stuff to look at in here.

Thanks guys!
Tony - I meant to type vine maple, that is the tree over the top of the falls. You may be right about the bright spot there on the right. It's a bright spot from the dappled sunlight. thank you. :toast:

Love the composition with the nice diagonal flow and that soft dappled light is gorgeous. The cropped version is to me the stronger image. Really nice work.

Really like this one, Jeremy. Both versions are nice, but I think I prefer the cropped version a bit more due to the greater emphasis on the waterfall. Nicely composed and the dappled light is wonderful. :toast:
