Painted Jungle

I was on the back of a pick up van, through this jungle, looking for some subject. There was a fine film of mist in the jungle and the morning light made the environment beautiful. Put my 350D at F22 in AV mode and was clicking based on the rough ride, hand held. This is what I got.

This type of technique always works to simplify these scenes into appealing compositions. I like it.

Very painterly. Looks so much more like a hand drawn image than a photograph...most images like this feel forced to me, this does not.

Even cooler you took this while in a moving vehicle! Possibly the most creative way of capturing an image like this I have heard of.
