Nice and sharp where needed for the flower and hairy leaf surface. Good job.

The one yellow flower stands out nicely with great detail. It'd be great, I think, if the little hairs on the leaves of that main flower could be emphasized a little more. I'm thinking about some dodging with a light, light touch... Again, nice portrait of Texas Star in fine condition.

Howard - Terrific placement of the Focus spot - right on the flower and the sepals, leaves etc to make the viewer really appreciate what this flower and plant is all about.
Love it exactly as presented

Howard:
Very good use of DOF to isolate this tiny flower. Its vibrant yellow color also helps it stand out from the sweet bg. Very nice image.

Beautifully done, Howard - the isolation of the flower is spot on, with the perfect background for showing off the yellow petals.
