Hoopoe feeding mate

The Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary is not only about sloth bears. There are lots of birds that one can photograph, and with great backgrounds.
The hoopoe, of which several subspecies exist, is the national bird of Israel, and also the state bird of Punjab state in India. Hoopoes are monogamous and are territorial. Only the female does the incubating, and the male feeds her during this period.

Wow, this is one of the most appealing Hoopoe shots I have seen over time, the BG colors is IMO the key to this image - simply excellent in combination with the birds ! Well done !

Fine image. You have captured the action here very well. The colors in the background works very well with the color of the birds and you got eye contact from both birds and a catch light in both eyes.
