Sunset glow on Ben Loyal as viewed from Lochan Hakel near Kyle of Tongue, Sutherland, Scotland

I just returned from an amazing two weeks in the Scottish Highlands. This image was taken a little before 10PM on a Transient Light Workshop with Ian Cameron in northern Scotland where we had six days of outstanding weather and light conditions.

Canon 5DM2
Canon TS-E 24mm
ISO100 8sec f/22
1.5 Stop HE ND Gradient + 4-Stop ND

Thanks for having look.

Eva, Beautiful! The light here is fantastic and I just love the reflection and way the water looks. It has a wonderful texture feel and sheen to it. The light / color on the mountain and clouds is wonderful as well. Very nice.

This is just a flat out beautiful image. I too love the way the water looks, and the rocks are nicely placed in the scene.
And that light!
The full moon is a cherry on the cake. No suggestions from me at all.
Glad to hear that the weather cooperated with you and I look forward to seeinng more from your trip.

No nits. I thought at first the rotation was slightly off, but it was an illusion. I love the sheen on the water!

Very nice Eva the full moon or at least near as makes no difference was definitely the icing on the cake. Can't wait to get my trannies developed.

Beautiful light and color Eva. Not sure how to describe those blues, but the hues are wonderful. I too love the sheen on the water. Almost wish there was more at the bottom, but I suspect you had a shoreline to deal with or something... As mentioned, the moon is a great bonus as too.

I'm guessing you had a great trip and I'm looking forward to seeing the images. Welcome back.

Beautiful light and mood. I can almost feel the fresh air from it. I like the smooth water. I am not sure, the horizont looks a bit tilted.

Well, if this is just a hint of what's to come from this trip, I, for one, can't wait, Eva! As they might say over there, "Bloody Brilliant!"

I like the moon peaking over the shoulder of the hills. This is lovely light and the stillness of the water lends a peaceful feeling. Very nice

Real pretty, Eva! You might try some dodging of the bright areas up top (cloud and mt hihglights) i think they need to 'pop' a bit more. Otherwise it's perfect. :wavey:

THis is certainly one of my very favorites of yours Eva, excellent in every way. While some may have a problem with the water not "real", I absolutely frickin' love it!!

Beautiful light and those reflections really draw my eyes into the scene. I also like how the rocks lead off to the right and provide a balance for the peaks.
