A little while after sunrise and not looking right into the sun. I really liked the way the angled rays streched across the sky this morning. Thanks for taking a look and all C&C is welcomed and appreciated.

Very nice scene! I especially like the depth created by all the layers of mountains, and the rays in the sky! I might be tempted to crop a sliver off the top though, just below the cloud in the middle. :toast:

Beautiful image! For the processing, I think the sky a bit dark for the mountains, it doesn't look natural. Great work.

I like this image, but do find the sky abit confusing with the different layers. IMHO you captured these multi layers very well. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful Color! There may be more images here. Have you tried zooming in/cropping, perhaps center clouds or upper right quadrant? A simpler image without the foreground bushes might be even better.

Keith - Great vista and that kind of lighting is pure magic. I would agree with Jorne about the crop. The sky colors do look a bit funky, possibly from the filter. I might suggest adjusting the yellows in particular to see if that might improve the sky.

Fine image but sky does not look natural due to excessive burn.

Keith, nice image, for me I would lower the contrast in the sky and mountains, and back off the saturation. I just see this as a soft peaceful image and that might work better?

Keith,

A grand view and wonderful capture. I might agree with some comments regarding the sky. My little nit is more to do with the yellow/green color in the far valley fog - just a little too much saturation in that area for my taste; and the upper blue is a little strong, but not too bad. The misty, layered landscape is captured quite well in this image.

Very beautiful image and scene. I love the light on the foreground trees. The sky looks a bit dark, though, and also the colors in the sky look a bit unnatural.

What a beautiful view!, and I just love those layers. Maybe just a little to much saturation in the sky but it sure is a pretty view.

Fabulous elements to this and what a sight to see. I will echo critiques from others on desaturating a bit, to soften the colors for a very misty scene. Lovely comp. :toast:

Lovely comp and setting. Somewhat not-quite-real-enough light though. Contrasts between the different elements seems exaggerated.
