Nice shot, Gerald with good complementary colors and strong detail. The comp is classic thirds, with the overhanging branch serving as a frame.

The details in the flower are great and the overhead arch of the branch adds a lot to the image. Nicely seen.

Gerald - I like how the drooping stem "protects" the Rose. Very nice saturated colors - even though I'd be tempted to use a diffuser just for the Rose to avoid the shadows falling on the petals.
