Danny - Looks like a Rose probably something like a Wood Rose to me. I like the foliage making a nice triangle around the Rose and thereby framing it nicely. While the background is not overly distracting, I wish it was more uniform, without the dark patch in the lower right.

Lovely shot of the rose. I like the leaves framing the flower and that there's enough detail in the background to indicate the surroundings (mossy rocks and woods).

Danny: Excellent DOF management and rendering of the BG. Suspecting the BG is lichen covered rocks I think it works very well as a contrast to the soft flower. Well seen and captured. >=))>
