Taken at Las Cienegas National Conservation Area...I was there looking for something entirely different- Pronghorn. I would appreciate any pointers as I don't do too many landscapes! I was in too much of a hurry to set up my tripod which probably would have improved things!

f20, 1/60, ISO 800.
5D2 @ 17mm (17-40)

Also, I am curious as a couple people commented on the "subdued color". I always get subdued color when I post on this site...please see the same image on my website & tell me if it looks just as subdued there! I have tried sizing the image smaller so that it does not get resized but I still get a muted effect when I post here!

I like it Eirini, the composition looks good and I like the subdued colour.

Nice comp for a 'hurry up' shot. Looks like there could have even been a double bow. I like the bits of blue sky beyond the storm cloud

Nice composition for a grab shot. The tree on the right adds an anchor. You might try just a slight boost in saturation.

Thistle is nice foreground element. Might've composed it to fit under the rainbow. Darkening the clouds and sky might add some drama here.
