Eastern Kingbird

This evening I finally got out to do some shooting which hasn't happened in awhile. I headed to my favorite grasslands spot and the usual suspects were all in place but this Kingbird was a bit of a surprise (although it is a species I've seen more and more frequently at this particular location over the years). I got lucky with the positioning of the bird and it flying to the perch right as I pulled up with my vehicle.

Nice light and colors. I'd tighten up the composition a bit to make the kingbird larger in the frame.

Great picture. Much more detail in the larger view. I like its perch.

Nice light on this once Luke. I agree with Richard about maybe cropping this a bit tighter. I might even go with an 8x10 over the 11.5 crop. I might be tempted to also lighten the head just a tiny bit...and I mean, just a smidgen.

Wonderful BG and warm colors/light Luke.
I like the comp with the bird at the tip of this great looking perch, perfect for this vertical frame..
I agree with Rich if you have the res.
