I liked the interaction between the two. Challenge was to avoid a man made concrete structure in the background at the same time align to the blooms to make use of the DOF. Something worked out  . The background is Coriander plant with whitish blooms.

ND300s, AFD200mm F/4 Micronikkor with 36mm ET (ET was not needed, it happened to be mounted at that time), F/11, 1/80 Sec, Early morning filtered light, ISO400 and Tripod.

Thanks a lot for your comments on Perwinkle and do let me know if you like this one or not.

Fabulous! Just the right DOF and perfect bg. :toast:

Ornamental are used quite frequently in Ikebana arrangements for the structure and they last for sometime as cut flowers.

Tremendous detail and BG control. I would have guessed this was a stack but f11 seems to have done the trick. Nice stuff, as always. :toast:

I really like this image, Ram! Wonderful comp with the angles of the stems and the flowers facing opposite directions. I agree the interaction of the flowers is special; it reminds me of a mother and child. Very nice details in the flowers with a great blurred, color-compatible background. Well-done! :toast:

I love this kind of composition Ram. If we were painters may be you would like better to paint the bottom buds nearer to the uppers for strengthening the relationship; may be.
Take care.
