Sugar Coated Petals

by Patricia Brundage

Gallery: Macro & Close-upPosted July 4, 2012138 views5 comments
The dew drops were so fine that they resembled wet sugar crystals on the edge of the rose petals. Taken with Canon 7D, using 100-400 IS lens at 140, with 500D macro filter.

Comments welcomed.

Patricia, this is exceptional. Very beautiful. There is a circular object, maybe an oof drop, near the left edge above the LLC that I'd probably clone out in order to make this perfect, but you may you like it. Again, exceptional image. :toast:

Thanks for seeing the bright circle. Obviously I didn't, but have since fixed it in the original.

Patricia - It looks unreal  . What a superb dusting of crispy fine dew !!. The layers and folds clearly put this over the top.
