Wild Ramp 2

Went back to where I photographed the un-opened wild ramp flowers to check if they had opened up, which they had, and with the dry conditions much of the forest undergrowth was gone which made it easier to get to them.

Canon T3i
1/160 @ F-4.5 ISO 400 -0.3 adj eval. metering
Canon EF-100macro USM
Tripod, with 2 sec delay

I like you perspective and detail falling off. Maybe a little more room at the top, but that is purely subjective. Well done in my opinion.

John:
This is quite complex looking flower and unfortunately is slight past prime. I can see what you want to achieve with the shallow DOF and the bg is fine. A square frame may work for this flower to show its spherical symmetry.

Hi John :wavey: There is an almost abstract quality to this shot, i find the contrasting detail very enjoyable
