A light autumn snowfall added a sparkle to this much photographed icon.

Great sense for depth and scale to my eye, Rob. The interplay of light and shadow, especially in the foreground, really brings your image to life for me.

Wonderfully abstract foreground and nice light throughout the frame. It's all been handled really well.

Looks like some lovely light here Rob. I like the low angle of the light crossing the landscape and bringing out the fg humps and bumps. The patchy snow is nice also. The image seems a little less sharp than I would have expected in both the small and large versions. Even so, I'm really enjoying the contrast and rich, earthy tones. Must get down there one of these days!

Thanks for c&c. David - the image did suffer somewhat in the shrinkage. It's sharp on the 40x50" print!

This image has a wonderful depth to it and I really like the cool blue patches of snow leading the viewer in from the foreground.
