Nikon D300, 150mm, F/5, 1/400, ISO 200.

The Osteospermum "Caroline" has a stunning colored disc. I hope I was able to capture the remarkable beauty of this amazing flower. Comments appreciated.

Well composed, love the detailed look at this multi-colored disc center Albert.
Great use of F/5 to isolate it in the frame, beautiful shot! :toast:

What a beauty, Albert! I really like the comp and DOF you chose to emphasize that wonderful center. The OOF petals and nice even colored background help focus our attention right into the center. I really like this! :toast:

I love the way the fluorescent orange pops out of the dark purple! Nice portrait! I like the softness of the oof petals. This would also be great in the Flora gallery!

What I love about this image is the unique triangular shape of the flower. You nailed the focus on the disk and that makes the image a keeper, but the shape is what makes it a wall hanger for me.
If it was mine, I would probably lighten the URC a little to balance the bg. So, so minor, though!
