From a couple of weeks ago. I like the pose on this one. The feathers look a bit course because it's fresh from the pond.

1DIV, 500mm ISL +1.4TC, Black Widow on RRS legs, f8, 1/640, iso 640, Av mode with -2/3 compensation, normal processing in CS5, cropped to 7MP. Taken at 8:11 pm on July 4th.

You comments and criticisms are most appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

Hi Dennis, Nice perch and pose. I like the comp and the clean BG. What time of day was this?

Excellent image and comp, Dennis. Wonderful light. Nice pose showing the yellow lores and eyebrows.

Great pose, details in the feathers, and isolation from the background.

Really pleasing image Dennis. I really like the old rotted wood perch. No nits from me, just nice work!
