A refracted landscape in a bubble. I love this kind of shot but they're tough to nail down. I think the deep shadows in the rocks beneath the surface helped here. I think the bubble looks like a small planet drifting through space. Does it work? Is there too much negative (empty) space? Critiques and comments welcome. Thanks for looking

This is a trip and I mean that in a good way. It does look like a planet in outer space. Very unique and interesting image, Nancy.

Wow Nancy! What a very unique image. The dark background really works well. The image in the bubble looks like a view into another world. Excellent find.

Neat stuff! My only (teeny weeny) nit is I see no reason not to center the bubble. The "Rule of Thirds" doesn't really apply to static objects that much. To my way of thinking, symmetry is as good a choice, maybe better. Worth thinking about, anyway.

You truly find your voice in water, Nancy. I love the way you follow this interest and create some truly original work.

Cool! I find fish-eye shots interesting, but they appear to me to be kind of fake and gimmicky. This gives us that all-over view, but totally naturally.

Nancy Lea,

Fantastic! I think "out of this world" would be perfectly appropriate too. Very unique and perfectly captured. Now is that you in the silhouette of the tree? ;-)

Technically, I think some noise is creeping in with the larger version. but this is just awesome!

That's what I like about your posts Sandy, you're not afraid to go "where no man has gone before"
I agree on the cosmic level..it could be a unique form of black hole in outer space, and it's giving one a look back in time
Very creative & interesting, well done! :toast:

A planet in space was indeed my first tought. i think the empty space works as it makes the bubble stand out more in the solitude of space like a real planet.
