Queen Anne's Lace

The Queen Anne's Lace wildflowers are blooming everywhere right now. I went to a local park for this shot. Taken near sunset. I was trying to get a back view with some backlighting.

Canon Rebel T1i. 180mm macro lens. F/9 for 1/13 sec. ISO 200. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

I really like the POV and backlighting. The background works well although it does look a little noisy on my crummy laptop monitor. Nice stuff.

Mark, thanks for your comments. I agree, the background is noisy. . .more than I like certainly. It was getting fairly dark so that didn't help. May need more editing. . .

Carolyn:
Beautifully done! and you have certainly succeeded in achieving what you have set out to do. Uncommon POV.

This is a great perpective & I really like the backlighting on it! The background maybe slightly noisy but it really doesn't detract at all from the image. You actually do amazing work with a Rebel. It is just a noisier camera than what some other people on this forum may be using. My dad & uncle are both better photographers than I, but did not spend as much as I did on a camera (they both have Rebels) and I have shown them your work to encourage them that their cameras can still do really great work!
