A few of these Lizards like to hang out in my back yard. This one was posing for me so I had to take a shot.

Nicely done, Charlie and you have him in nice light, too. Like what one can expect from all of your postings, this demonstrates a fine command of technical details and an excellent choice in composition. Given this is a critique gallery, regardless of how solid the image is as shown, a background question is "What could one do to make it better?" The only thing I can see is that the small lizard feels diminished on the large rock, perhaps because of the amount of rock in the lower right quadrant. So in a perfect world a secondary object or point of interest in that area (breaking up the volume of rock) would have been an enhancement. That said, this is excellent as presented and thanks for sharing it!

We have a lot of lizards around us as well but getting a good shot of one is another thing. Interesting light and I like the feet with those log toes, well done.

Hey Charlie,
Long time - no talk, hope you're doing well! Nice to see you're staying cutting edge on the camera technology!
Compositionally this one works well for me - nicely positioned in the frame and with a very helpful head-turn - can't ask for much more. If I was pushed to find a nit about the only trivial thing I could come up with would be a wish for maybe a tiny bit more DoF - looks like it's getting a bit soft by the tip of the tail. But...like I say...pretty trivial and overall the image works just fine!
Cheers...
