Slow Rise

I shot this in Acadia National Park on an early morning sunrise. 4:58am to be precise...! Yup, it was early and the mosquitos were vicious!. However, the payoff was abundant for me.
Shot off Boulder Beach, Acadia, Maine.

C and C always much appreciated.

Canon 5d MkIII, 17-40mm, Tiffen grad ND, CP-L, tripod, and lots of bug spray!

Love the comp Marco. The magenta cast is quite strong in the foreground though and the colors seem a little over saturated, but I was not there and as you know, it is all a matter of personal taste. The exposure you have chosen works well for me.

Beautiful composition. I agree with Eva on the magenta rocks but I like the strong colors in the sky. Nice job

Lovely scene with the long leading leading clouds and foreground rocks. I agree with Eva about this seeming oversaturated, but also agree as to that being personal taste.

Comp and light sure are nice. Feels a bit vivid, but I know we all have different tastes in this area.
