Simply Tulips...

This was taken earlier in the year, back when the tulips were still blooming...I liked the abstract feel and the soft colors.

Cropped a bit for composition, this is about 90% of full frame. I have difficulty deciding how much to sharpen a photograph with so much softness, as I don't want to over do it, so I did a bit of selective sharpening on one of the petal ridges.

Nikon D200, 60mm, f/5, 1/125, ISO 250.

Very appealing abstract. The line in the petal adds enough interest to stop the image from being boring.

Orange serbet! Lovely abstract. Good plane of focus management to get almost the entire petal edge sharp. An alternative image would be to crop a little from the top where the petal edge is started to blur out.

I love everything about this abstract Jaymes. I have tried and tried to create something like this with just the right amount of focus and subject, but nothing as sweet as this has come of it. Great work and display in my opinion.
