Sunflower close-up

Another photo from my sunflower outing. I know bugs usually go in the macro gallery but my emphasis here is more on the flower. The bee is quite a common sight on these flowers and I felt added to the typical sunflower image.

Canon Rebel T1i. 180mm macro lens. F/5 for 1/1600 sec. ISO 400. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

Lovely sunflower and the carpenter bee adds a nice grace note.

This is outstanding, Carolyn. The colors and composition are both fabulous. The bee just puts this over the top. A winner for sure.

Wonderful image, colors and lines are great. Love the pattern in the flower center. The bee adds a lot to this image.

Beautiful, Carolyn. I know this may sound odd, but I hope you got one without the bee as well. The glowing sunflower is amazing on its own.
