Amazing this little tree survived as long as it did. An interesting subject and some nice textures really make this photo for me.

Wonderful texture and nice, pastel colors. The little tree is a great focal point. Very nicely done

Well seen and captured, Patricia! I like the tonal variations and the rock shapes
and textures. For me this sets the mood or concept of isolation or lonliness.
Also thank you for your comment on my recent posting in the floral gallery.

Quite different scene than what we usually see from there. Great find Patricia. Love the contrasts and the textures as well as the subtle colors in the background.

Great textures, Patricia, bringing out the qualities of what I take to be crystals, and a very appealing composition.
PS My email to you ( re textures ) from the site has been returned - Jim has confirmed that he has only the one email address for you. Don't know what the problem is. Maybe you could check in your profile, or with Jim, that NPN has the correct current address. Will try again but if I can't get through soon I will put details in a further comment on the anemone image.

This is a quiet interesting subject and scene. The texture and colors in contrast to this tree make this image for me.
