Love the composition , the dew on the web and the hint of color in the background. Very interesting.
Everything seems out of focus though with very little detail in the web. It also looks like you have a large dust spot
on the bottom of the frame.
Was this hand held?

I really like the comp. Great eye to see this and line up the black eyed susan behind the web. It is good and a pleasure to view, but it is unfortunate that the web is not sharper. Thanks for sharing, Gerald.

Wonderful vision and subject matter in this image. Great comp and love the raindrops on the web. However, as others mentioned. the web seems out of focus. It looks like most of the web is on a similar focal plane so the problem was probably more in your focusing. I've found, especially in macro, that using the live viewfinder is the most helpful way to get correct focus. View the image live and then enlarge 100%. At that point do your fine tuning of your focus and shoot! If the object has slight movement, I then shoot in burst mode to catch at least one sharp, hopefully. All this is assuming you are using a tripod. Good luck!
