This is another one from the aletsch glacier trip last june. Taken on the same day just a little bit later in the afternoon.

Thanks for your feedback on my last post. I really appreciate it.

I think I like this one even better than your last. The long flow of the glacier adds a certain grace to the image and is a terrific leading line. Both are beautiful, though.

I definitely like this comp much better Bill The splash of color from the roses is also more prominent. Gorgeous alpine scene overall.

The flowers give an anchor point at the bottom and so nice color. The glacier is a very nice leading line that draws you right into the image. The clouds add interest to the nice blue sky. Fine image.

I think I like this comp and the processing even more than the first one. And, I liked it a lot!

Holy cow, I said almost the same thing as Nancy.

Bill- Your processing of the image, especially the FG looks significantly better in this image. Crazy beautiful view - a little haloing apparent on the tall peak on the left I think, maybe from dealing with a polarized sky? a big Oh My! :toast:

Lovely! I like this one better because the clear view of the glacier and it's flow lines makes for a much stronger feeling of depth for me. The flowers are a great addition and balance nicely with the dark peaks in the upper left.

Hi Bill,

I really like this a lot - particularly the punch of colour from the flowers, against the flowing lines of the glacier. :toast:

This one is better than the first one and shows what a majestic glacier this is. Sharpening is better here too. There seems to be a slight halo around the mountain ridge - you might want to check that again.

This shot really illustrates the length of the glacier Bill. The flowers add a nice splash of color. Very nice!

Bill,

This is a wonderful landscape image. Beautifully composed, a great nature story, excellent color and processing. The flowers really make the image, adding color and a solid compositional element. No nits what so ever. Excellent.

Stunning image Bill. The touch of color in the foreground flowers is exactly what this scene needs. Excellent comp and processing. I'm amazed by the size of this glacier.

Beautiful! I prefer this over your previous post - the flowers are much bigger and brighter, and the extended view of the glacier is wonderful.

Fantastic shot here Bill, your composition is excellent with the flowers in the foreground and the flow of the glacier runs perfectly through the frame.

Really majestic scenery! You captured it very well. The flowers in the FG are really sweet. I was here two times, until now not very lucky with the lights.
