The cable bridge + Repost

Looks cold! A miserable day and flat light have made this less than it could be.

A nice comp and I like the cloudy sky...but the light looks kind of flat, though.

The serpentine path of the stream is a wonderful subject. As others have noticed, the dim, flat light seems to have robbed the interesting-looking rocks of some of their shapes. I wonder if some small curves adjustments might bring out a bit more contrast in the rocks to bring out their shapes.

Good use of the S curve here. The grey sky works quite well here.

I tried to increase the contrast in PS.

I think this (both the original and the re-post) could use some additional careful processing. I think that increasing the contrast of the original is a good idea. However, the water should not be brightened much further to avoid blown highlights. I'd probably try double-processing the file once for the water and once for the rest, and then blend them manually using a layer mask. Just an idea...

Nice capture of the dramatic river water and the bridge looking like a kind of tottery afterthought.
