Nikon D300, 150mm, F/5.6, 1/100, ISO 200. Cable release.
More of an artistic interpretation here, which will be the hallmark of the balance of the series. Hope you enjoy it, comments appreciated.

I like this better than the last one, Albert, except I liked the color better on the previous. To me, this represents a quarter of a flower, thus has believable dimension. I like also that the point of focus is at the front.

Very artistic with nice lines and dof. I really like the sense of flow with this comp.

Albert - For me the first one still remains the best. I like the focus on frontal elements including the large whiskers but the composition does not work for me that well.
I will be waiting to see the remaining shots in the series.

These are hard flowers to photograph but I am liking your series, Albert. I like the artistic feel of this one with the curvy "whiskers" as Ram called them. Beautiful colors; I like the darker pink contrasting with the lighter pink. In looking at the ones you posted so far I think I like #2 the best but everybody seems to have their own varying opinion! Just goes to show they are all good, Albert.

Albert:
You seems to be able to find just the right amount of elements in this chaotic scene to make it work. However, I still like the first the best so far.

Love the freedom of this composition, Albert - there's an entrancing movement across the frame and some delightful pastel colours against the green ground.

I like this Albert, more separation, and the composition. Well done, and keep them coming.
