My dad took up flying remote control planes a year ago, and this spring started gaining the confidence to fly solo. I have been going out to the airfield with him on occasion and have started photographing various planes for the club. This photo was from the other night, of a plane flown by club member shortly before sunset. One challenge I have had to overcome was shooting at a slow enough shutter speed to allow the propellers to blur. I have a gallery set up at http://www.heartland-images.com/share/MACK with more images from the airfield.

I really like this image. I find the light really helps the subject stand out. You did a good job of achieving the prop blur which is important for Prop driven plane images. The model is great also, such great detail which you have captured. Nice work.

At first glance II thought this was a real war bird (P40?) Then I wondered how large the model is. So I walked through the galleries at your link. Good stuff. Thanks for sharing.
