The Hand Of?

I was in the Sierra Nevada Mtns of California last weekend at about 7000 ft near Utica Reservior. This is an area that was well glaciated 10,000 years ago. Driving down the road, I noticed this formation of rock. What struck me about it was it seems to be assembled as one might build a rock wall: albeit at a rather large scale. Not sure how this came about that the rock got fractured but each joint was rounded smooth. I pretty much left it as shot. I thought about cloning out the ULC and LRC but decided that it probably wouldn't look right. Cropping would have eliminated some important features. So it got left as is. Comments and critiques welcomed.

Interesting abstract pattern in this composition. Even though I am generally against cloning, I would do it here as those bits are distracting and definitely spoil the photo for me.

Peter, very nice, I especially like the natural colors, detail and shadow areas, but I also think it would be a lot better without the little touch of pine and sky.

I appreciate the comments, particularly regarding the piece of sky and the veg in the corners. Cloning out turned out to be easier than I expected and the new version attached is, IMO, much better. Hope you agree.

Peter, the re-post with the cloned areas is the ticket here. I think the geological abstracts such as this one are always very interesting to me.
The individual patterns and textures are excellent here along with the overall jigsaw configuration too.....
