'Til Next Time,

Came across this nest, in my backyard, this past winter. The snow, filling and spreading out across the nest, really caught my eye. It is not my normal type of shot, but thought it worth a click or two :)

I get why this shot appealed to you Stephen. I love the cracked peeling paint in combination with the snow-covered nest. Sure gives a sense of 'season's over'. If you do any processing, the partial hinge is a little distracting and could be cloned - but not cropped - that peeling paint up in the top right really adds to the overall feel.

Excellent composition, and the light is perfect to emphasize the wonderful textures and convey the mood here.

Cute image, very cute. The detail and the story found within the image is one that speaks of the harsh times of winter. I like the composition and the rule of thirds. You did a great job of placement.
