LOL!! Do you know it's a male?
Interesting image that demonstates how environment influences the impact of an image.
Excellent portrait of this fellow/lady , great eyes and detail.
Love it!

 If only he knew, he would trash all those purple flowers! Lovely image though. I am only wondering why you did not stop down for a bit more DOF.

This has such a different look than your other portrait with the late evening and brown grasses...hard to believe it is even the same shoot. Another real winner in my opinion. The colors of the flowers really make this something unique...a boar in a purple setting....almost looks like a nice calm animal...lol :toast:

What a beautiful setting for this attractive  animal. I wonder if cropping off the OOF area at the bottom would make a stronger image.

Outstanding capture. The flowers really make this one pop. Both in front of and OOF behind him. I would like to see this with a tiny bit of the bottom cropped off. Thanks for sharing.

The most beautiful wild bore photo I have seen so far  Great pose surrounded by all those pink blooms. But he looks like he could be a bit ornery if wanted to be. Sweet Portrait Edwin!!!

Sandy Richards has hit the nail on the head - about environment influencing the impact of the image, and of the nature of the subject, too!

Wow, you've taken a not-so-beautiful creature and really made him look GOOD! (Do you offer the same type of portraits for people? ) Awesome image.

It's the visual contradiction between the boar and the delicate pink flowers that makes the shot. Well done, and congratulations on the WP.
