Hi all

I've just returned from the Canadian Rockies and am going to post a few shots from that trip in the next few weeks.

This one was taken at Beauty Creek (well, at least I think so, unless I missed the trail! :D) pretty close to the Athabasca Glacier/Columbia Icefield.

D90, tripod, blend of two exposures.

Wow. Picture perfect. Colors, details and comp. The two exposures were for dynamic range?

Yes, the two exposures were for dynamic range, as the left wall was in the sun and the right one in the shade.

Nice view of these falls. I like the light and the nautural colors. The large version brings this across quite nicely.
The water looks a tad overexposed, perhaps you can use the darker exposure to bring back some detail?

The tree next to the falls is very nice for perspective! It might be worth playing with cropping the bottom more, those two rock/log at the bottom feel cut off.

Great shot. Nice color in the water. The left side rocks are a little bright and distracting to me.

I like the composition. I like the way this started seeming bigger the longer I looked at it. Only thought would be to maybe try and burn down the LLC.
