Hi all,
This is from a series of Lupine images I've been working with from earlier this Summer. Taken right before the Sun went behind the hill.
Nikon D7000
Zeiss 100mm
C&C appreciated and thanks for viewing.

Makes me feel happy all over. The darker color in the ulc pulls my eye a bit. Maybe either lighten it or clone it out?

Sweet color and detail. I agree with Morris re the OOF purple object in the ULC.

I really like the light here! I am also a little distracted by the ULC, and perhaps by the oversaturated green in the sky. Otherwise this is truly a beautiful lupine portrait!

Morgan, - this is lovely. Love the luminance and the lighting on a painterly background. Cropping some from the left and presenting this as a strong vertical is an option you may want to evaluate.

The light is superb...esp the background...sets up the bloom to sparkle. Nicely done.

Thanks so much for all the feedback everyone!
Ram, I really like the idea of making it a strong vertical composition by cropping more of the left area. I've included a re-post based on that.

Beautiful light and colour shining through this image, Morgan - a great moment to have chosen for the capture ! I do find the repost stronger for the compositional change.

Really nice composition and light Morgan. I agree with cloning out the blue in the ULC, but other than that this is super.
