This is the spot where the Kicking Horse River rerouted after wearing out a hole in the rock a few million years ago. The river now goes through the Natural Bridge to the right. Through sun and rain and clouds and a few bus loads of tourists and other folks coming and going I got a little sun to shine on peak in background and captured this.
A visit here is must and Emerald Lake is down the road 6 or so miles and spectacular too.

Beautiful scene! I love the look of the water rushing over the rocks. Very nicely done.

Excellent Rick. A pretty scene from start to finish. Love the light on the peak, gorgeous sky, the trees are delightful, and your chsoen shutter speed is perfect IMO for the water. Excellent composition too. This works on all levels.

The sun on the peak tops this beautiful image off nicely. Interesting area, and you've showcased it very well.

I like this one better. Strong elements and focal points throughout the frame.

Wow Rick, nice job with the colors of the water, the sky, the trees, etc., etc. Great composition, and balance. Good shutter speed to capture the flow of the water along with some of the detail of the terrain.

This could almost go in the Environmental PJ gallery too with the dead trees from beetle damage here.
