I love lush old growth forest settings and this image represents that scenery and its atmosphere very well.

The graceful arcs of fronds is almost a trade mark for you. Nice sunstar.

Daniel, I like the feel of this as it seems to put me right there. The large version does that even more so, and I really enjoyed looking at that. This has such a nice natural look and feel.

The leading lines are great here. The comp looks good, and I do think a tad more contrast could benefit the scene.

Daniel,

I really like the sun star and light coming through the forest up top. The fern and vegetation are lush and natural. Comp wise, I think it's kinda like two separate images and my eye bounces back and forth between the two halves. I'm not sure if the fern and greenery are enough to stand on their own, but the upper forest does. What might be interesting to consider would be a crop off the bottom, say by eliminating the largest fern stem. While that actually brings it even closer to an actual 50/50 comp, I think it gives more prominence to the upper forest area with the nice light and sun star. I dunno, just thinking out loud.

I love in your face fern shots, and the sun star is a nice bonus.
