Nice one Sandy, certainly a representative habitat, and a nice raised foot.

I agree, Greater. Long, and bit of an upturned bill. Starting to become a connoissuer of Yellowlegs, since they're sometimes the bane of my existence. Seems a lot of times when I'm shooting shorebirds, there's ONE stinkin' Yellowlegs that always sounds the alarm, and then they all scatter JUST out of camera range.

Always nice to get one close enough for photos. Good exposure and detail. A lower angle could have helped with the bsackground.

I like the light and the clarity of the bird and how it stands out, as well as the raised leg. Good sharpness and DOF.
