David, this is a nice moment. The face and eyes of the baby really make the photo work. In terms of balance, I think that with the arm extended like that, the image is begging to have the baby's face placed more to the left side of the frame. This likely means cropping a good portion of the left side of the image (close to, if not cutting off the mother's knee), and then you could debate whether to crop the right edge as well to remove what might be a slightly-distracting bright background.

It's a great foundation to work with though. I'd be really pleased if I came away from that environment with this photo!

What a cutie  You captured a wonderful moment David, it must have been a wonderful experience. The details are excellent too. I like Max's suggestion about cropping this image from the left side a bit.

Sweet Photo!!!

This image is just right as it is, in my opinion. Cuteness is over the top! And the diagonal of the arm gives the photo some movement. Wonderful!

A very cute moment David! I fully agree with Max on the crop suggestion. Though I am not a big fan of square crops, I immediately thought to take off the LHS up to the mom's knee, and the RHS up to the little one's hand.
I would also play with this in monochrome...

Very cute indeed David! I understand the crop suggestion made and agree that could work. However, I also quite like the crop as presented. There are a view triangular shapes throughout the image that help create a visually interesting image and the suggested crop would eliminate some of these triangles. :toast:

My suggestion on framing is to crop the bright right hand edge, which I think better emphasizes the key focal areas. Terrific look and I, too, like all the triangular shapes. If you want to retain image ratio, I would take a little off the bottom rather than the top. The result might make the eyes almost center, but that can be powerful given the tension of the triangles. Try it and see what you think! I would be really happy to have this one to work with! :toast:
