Nice movement and lighting here Karsten. I would like to see a little more image in bottom left middle of frame.

This has beautiful light and flow Karsten. It reminds me of one of Guy Tal's dune photos.

Powerful, dramatic image! Love the light, the lines formed by the crests of the mountain and the vastness of the scene.

Love the color, light and the overall feel of this image but I would personally prefer to see a little more on the left and right side, more panoramic.

When I first saw this I thought it was Ian Cameron's (a nice compliment). Beautiful, rich color, great detail in the larger image, annd sweet light.

Lovely light on the "hills". I like your comp. with the brightly lit meandering slope and the offset peaks in the distance.

Great light and tones - well done.

Very nice dramatic light, with those dark clouds in the background. I agree that I'd like to see more space on the left and right, as well as the top - to roughly place the foreground and background ridges at flanked thirds. As it is, they're too close to the edge of the frame for my tastes. Still, very nice image. Prehistoric-looking indeed. :)

Great light Karsten. The lines of the hills and the dark moody sky really give this an ancient feel, and everything seems to be in the right place. The details in the large version are also clean and smooth in the shadows for such a dark time of day.

The low directional light, shadows, and curving ridge look great! The amount of detail shown in the shadows seems about right.

Thanks for your comments, everyone.
I have taken shots of the wider landscape, but really wanted to focus on the forms in this image
Jack, the vegetation is all moss here... I am afraid I cannot be more specific...

Dreamy landscape for sure! I was supposed to go to Iceland with some fellow photographers this past summer but missed out... this makes me really wish I had gone!
