Moonlight Sublime

My last of the point sublime images. Chikku and I went back out a few hours after sunset to do some night photography. With the moon starting to climb into the sky it lit up the canyon as if it were daylight. With the clouds moving in I knew there would be a sense of movement and that seeing millions of stars was out of the question. After a few attempts we headed back to camp to get our final rest before our sublime sunrise. The comp wasn't anything super special, but I liked the upper ridges and the sky was just too good to leave much of it out. Comments and critiques appreciated.

Point Sublime- Grand canyon.

Wow, this does not look like shot in moonlight! I agree, the sky is particularly cool.
I have a cropping suggestion: The lowest part (highlights, centre) can be sacrificed by a crop I think. Or toning them down a bit could be an option too.

Very nice Peter. I agree with Dietrich as I would not have thought it was shot under moonlight. I think this has a wonderful feel and and look. The colors look great and I love this light!

Quite nice. What an excellent collection of images from one outing.

Peter,

Look at that sky too long and I start to get dizzy! A great effect, but sometimes I think it detracts from the landscape. Maybe just cause it's late and I'm tired...

I think you did a great job handling the moonlight - in fact it does look like daylight since I might expect a cooler WB with the moonlight. But I think the colors, light, exposure all look great. Sure looks and sounds like you guys had a great and productive outing.
