Love the action of this one Richard! The raised paw, the flying water, the open jaw getting ready the clamp down....and then....the salmon's eyes....WOW! All I can say is top notch! Love it!

BTW, love the series. Hope everyone clicks on the link to take a look.

This is an amazing moment you have captured, Richard. What perfect timing.

Am I imagining things or is that a *very worried* look on the salmon's face?!

What a dramatic and story-telling image Richard! The entire series is great, but this is THE shot of that series for sure. :toast:

Love the intensity here Richard - nice tight framing to focus us on the important action going on.
:toast:
As presented I wonder if the face can use a very slight hint of lightening and sharpening?

HI Richard,

So I wonder if anyone is cheering for the sockeye?

Good timing on this - the anticipation of what happens next is pretty intense here. Techs - including your DOF (and, in particular, removing the gulls as a potential distraction) - look solid too. Well done overall!

Cheers...

Incredible photo Richard  This has it all, but I especially like your eye level perspective. Awesome series too.

Fantastic action image, Richard - the lunge from the bear, the look on its face, the salmon desperately trying to escape, the splash of the water - just fantastic!
