Part of a beach, but this really appeals to me for its abstract qualities, colours and textures.

Wow Karsten, This is fantastic. Like you I really enjoy the abstract feel of this. The light and color is beautiful here, and I love the textures this has. I could see this with more of the right side showing too, but without being there you just don't know if that would even work, besides it's beautiful as is! The large version is awesome!!

This looks fantastic. One those images that show something so unique and interesting that they almost work because of subject matter alone. But it is so well composed and presented, making it stunning.

Karsten - The large version is a must see. Great graphical elements and a terrific abstract. The patchy lighting also adds so much to the beauty of this photo.

This is a beautiful abstract. I enjoy not only the color contrast, but also the rich texture you've captured here throughout the photo. The color palette is reminiscent of something I'd see from Yellowstone.

This is just drop-dead fantastic! A sand star indeed, but what color! I almost want to say the color (especially the sand) is unreal, but the longer I look, the more believable it becomes! I love it.

As my Daddy would always say "Strong as new rope"! This is truly excellent IMHO in addition to being unique as well. The light is fantastic.
