A new junco for me on my last trip to Montana. Really like the colors on this bird. I like the setting and the prey too.

Excellent capture. The bird and its' meal standout so well and the perch is great, too. Wonderful detail

A very nice shot. I like the light, pose, perch and BG and I really like the little worm. A bit of a departure for you as I am used to seeing the raptors, ducks and wading birds.

Great shot of a bird doing what a bird does. Rising early. . .

Sharpness, color and exposure appear spot on, real nice feel to this one. I agree, great setting and the prey is perfect. Hand held is difficult with this big lens, but I bet it was the key to capturing this image on a very furtive species.

Very nice details, DOF, and natural rich colors Ron.
I agree, great overall setting/perch and the bird gets the worm - Can't beat that
Well done

Larger image really looks good with fine detail. A nice pose and perch. Dof works well and I like what looks like a mealworm in it's beak! Well done.
