this photo radiates evil :), I love the golden eye and its reflection. I like how the snout is just barely separated from the head.

Not what you want to see when you are in the water, whether you be man or beast! This guy has a very menacing and calculating-looking eye. I like the submerged pose and the comp you have in this picture. The water color blends well with the yellow eye; the ripples in the water add nice texture and give a sense of movement. Great capture, Wayne!

Why is the water gold? Why is the eye gold? What are we looking at? Where? Is it raining? Trying to decide if this one is large or small. The gatoprs I have photographed all have dark eyes. Anyway, I like the ripples and the reflection.

Robert,
It all depends on the light. As for the size of the gator that is noted by the shape and length of its head.

That golden eye stands out nicely in all of the warm brown tones. The rippled water is a nice addition.

Guess I was gone when you posted this, but I'm glad I found it now.
That golden eye is hypnotic. "Almost" makes me want to move in for a closer look, but your larger version is really about as close as I want to go.
Interesting light, especially the way the water filters out some of the color in the reflection of the eye. The pattern of the ripples is also mesmerizing. Excellent capture.
