Well done! The perspective and the sun star are pluses. This really illustrates why aspen are not very long-lived. It looks like old wind damage and crowning out are beginning to take their toll.

Phil,
The rancher told me they were about 60 plus years old. About the end of the road for Rocky Mountain Aspens.
Thanks for the comment

I do like your composition, but there is something strange going on here that I can't quite place my finger on. It almost feels as though the image is squished vertically. The trees appear very "flat" and don't seem very "round." Are you suer that the image wasn't resized true to the original aspect ratio?

I like the comp and how much light and color you have given the sun's inclusion. Looks like this would be a great place to explore fall color.

Rick, This is really cool looking. I think including the sun is this worked out very nice. I'm enjoying this interesting view.

Rick, I really enjoy your comp here, which emphasizes how these trees stretch out to heaven... agree with Philip, they do look very fragile indeed
