While still waiting for autumn to arrive, I looked through my older images and found this one from November last year. It was a serene autumn day in the Danube Floodplains, Lower Austria. I enjoyed all the filigree textures.

Fantastic! The thumbnail sure doesn't do this justice Peter, your large version really looks great. The color, feel, textures and detail are wonderful. I also think your composition works really well. IMO this is some excellent work! :toast:

The large version really pops. This is wonderfully textured and composed. Very nice

You and Didl would have fun together out there. Both of you seem to be attracted by chaos. I like the shot. The web sharpening is way over the top and make it hard to appreciate the overall feel of the image more - you should pull back a little next time.

tough scene to bring order to the composition but you did a good job here. I really like this one a lot. I agree about the web sharpening. Great shot

Oh, this is just fantastic Peter!! I saw this the other day but didn't have time to comment, but this is beautiful. This really captures the feeling of the autumn/winter woods. The downed trees add a lot IMHO. I wish the bush wasn't in the lower left corner, but it doesn't distract that much. Gorgeous!!
