Cathedrals beach, Spain
by Joana Roncero
I would like to share with you this wonderful place in Galicia, in the North of Spain. It is called Cathedrals beach. The picture was done at sunrise during the high tide. During low tide, you can walk on the beach, entering in caves and crossing arches. The person on the left with the tripod is me.
Comments are welcome

7 commentsI don't think I've had a chance to welcome you to NPN - so Welcome! I think this is your first post, although I'll mention up front, I'll be moving this to the Man & Nature gallery after posting my comments. The coastal city/buildings as well as road/radio towers on the left are pretty clearly "Hand of Man." Hope you understand, and feel free to drop one of the moderators a note if you have any questions.
I do like this seascape though. You certainly get the feeling of the rough coast, ocean and sea mist that makes this a little hazy, but I think it gives this coast character, rather than being a flaw. If that makes sense.
I like the surf and the main rock outcropping. The arch makes for a strong anchor to the scene.
thanks for posting. We look forward to more images and thank you for your participation and comments.

I am so sorry for my mistake when deciding the right gallery.
Thanks for the comment
Joana
I'm confused about one thing though - if the person in the image is you - who took this photo? Or should I ask, how was it taken?
