before joing NP, I wouldn't have considered taking this picture. But I find myself looking at things in a new way now. I liked the different shades of green between the ones in the shade and the ones in the sunlight.

The varied light and varied types of vegetation are interesting Catherine. I wonder if the range from light to dark is just too great.

Hi Catherine :wavey: Different varations of light filtered through a canopy of leaves can be very beautiful. i find the light harsh in, this scene . try the beautiful light coming through the forest if possible.

The harsh light really is too much for this Composition Catherine. Dusk or dawn with more even light would help this a bunch.

Catherine:
I can see what you are trying to achieve. However the tonal range is perhaps too wide for a single frame. A polarizer may help to tone down the blown highlights.
